Added another 22 songs: Rolling in the Ryegrass, The Sailors Delight, Down By the Sally Gardens, Scarborough Fair, Shepherd's Hey, Siubhain Ni Dhuibhir, The Skye Boat Song, Silent Night, The Spanish Lady, The Tenpenny Bit, Tim Finnegan's Wake, Tarmon's Polka, Tralee Gaol, The Trip to Tunbridge, Casadh An tSugain (The Twisting of the Hayrope), Wallflowers, The Irish Washerwoman, Wayfaring Stranger, Waxies Dargle, Whiskey in the Jar, and The Wild Rover.

This represents all of the music from my old archive. The additions won't be as generous (80 songs in 5 days!), because now I must notate all of the music I put up, which will take time. I'll probably update the site with all the new additions every friday, so keep a look out!

Site is officially open for business! The tinwhistler.com DNS has propagated, I have bug-tested my ASP code for both older versions of Netscape and Internet Explorer. I've set up remote administration. I've added 20+ songs to the database (Auld Lang Syne, Ballydesmond #2, Be Thou My Vision, Blow the Man Down, The Boatman, Bonaparte's Grand March, Bonny Kate, The Bonny Bonny Broom, The Boys of 25, The Brown Colleen, The Campbells are Coming, the Cat's Jig, Corn Rigs, The Dancing Master, Drowsie Maggie, Drummond Castle, The Duke of Perth's March, The Fair Little Cannavans, The Four Marys, I Buried My Wife and Danced On Her Grave, and What Shall We Do With a Drunken Sailor). That represents about 20% of the songs that were on my old site.

By the next Monday, I should have all of the old songs ported over. I have also purchased more professional notation software. The sheet music I have that looks ragged will eventually be re-done with the new software (see The Boatman for the new look), but I'm first going to focus on getting everything transported. Sheet music in the old format that looks fine will probably stay in that format, as it is more compact on the screen. I may be able to tweak the notation software for a similar look, but I haven't had time to check yet.

Glad to be back! Write and let me know how you like the new site!
