Another update, and less than a week has gone by! Woohoo!
I've cleaned up the "L" songs a little bit. Re-transcribed Londonderry Air (Danny Boy), so that I could clean up the notation and provide better MIDI (my old ABC to MIDI converter doubled notes, rather than putting in rests, and could not handle ties). I've also recorded the song in MP3. Likewise, I've re-recorded London Bridge (old recording had a bad buzz in background), and Loch Lomond (better ornamentation), and added a recording of Long Long Ago. I also recently got a songbook with the entire song to Tim Finnegan's Wake, so I re-notated that song (and re-mastered the MIDI).

Ok, I got some good ol' Jigs for you. Included in this update is: Banish Misfortune, Six Penny Money, and Trip to Killavil. Also, I've re-transcribed The Legacy Jig to reflect ornamenatation, and am including a recording me playing it. Hope to have more whistling goodness soon!

Yippee! The dynip registration has gone through, the DNS changeover should have propagated throughout most of the internet by now. No longer will you see the little resgister.com icon at the bottom of the screen, and all of the URL stuff should work as expected…we're back in full form, and should suffer less outages. Now maybe I can devote more time to music again! Re-recorded, re-midi'd and re-transcribed Tar Road to Sligo with ornaments (using Joanie Madden's rendition on Song of the Irish Whistle as a guide--She's the bomb!).

I have moved my entire domain IP forwarding to DynIP. Hopefully this will solve a lot of the problems I've been having lately because of register.com's ip forwarding schematic. The DNS entries should propagate in 24/48 hours, and then all www.tinwhistler.com entries will go directly to my site again, and not go thru register.com's unsatisfactory forwarding service.
